About the Role
We seek an Application Engineer to provide technical design, system selection, and engineering support across the project lifecycle in Kuwait. You will ensure accurate solutions, compliant documentation, and timely technical support to sales, projects, and clients. The role safeguards technical quality, drives tender success, and maintains engineering standards and documentation under demanding market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project-related software outputs and technical documentation, including system selections, load calculations, and equipment sizing for tenders and active projects.
- Review drawings, layouts, and specifications to verify technical compliance and alignment with consultant and client requirements.
- Develop Bills of Quantities and maintain standardized formats for technical submittals and engineering documentation.
- Produce and revise technical submittals while managing updated catalogs, certificates, and submission records for accessibility and compliance.
- Support consultant approvals and post-sales documentation throughout project execution, including value engineering and alternative product comparisons.
- Respond to technical RFIs and clarifications, coordinate with sales and site teams, and troubleshoot unexpected issues to sustain project momentum.
- Prepare weekly status reports, monitor technical progress, and maintain trackers that capture design deviations, approvals, and delays.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline with a strong grasp of system selection and load calculation principles.
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical submittals, BOQs, and compliance documentation for large-scale projects and tenders.
- Proficiency with industry design tools, selection software, and technical libraries to validate equipment and system choices.
- Strong analytical skills to review drawings, identify deviations, and support corrective actions and design verification.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities to align internal teams, consultants, and clients across project phases.
- Commercial awareness to contribute to competitor analysis, product benchmarking, and vendor or OEM assessments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and maintaining updated engineering reference materials.
