About the Role

The Assistant Manager will lead end‑to‑end finance and accounting operations, focusing on group consolidation, general ledger governance, period‑end close and statutory reporting. You will ensure the integrity of financial data, mentor a finance team and act as a key liaison with auditors and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and IFRS compliance.
  • Perform detailed GL and trial balance reviews, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Utilise Oracle Fusion ERP for journal posting, accruals, intercompany entries and other accounting activities.
  • Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, fixed assets and control accounts.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, meeting timelines and quality standards.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements, audit schedules and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors, internal audit and external consultants during audit cycles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP; exposure to Oracle EPM FCCS is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
