About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with experience in estimation and site supervision to join our team in Kuwait. This role involves overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and managing project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with hands-on experience in both technical and supervisory aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards
- Supervise civil construction activities and monitor daily site work to ensure timely completion
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards throughout all phases
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project team to maintain effective communication
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for project planning
- Perform quantity take-offs and rate analysis for budget forecasting and cost control
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution
- 5-8 years of experience in estimation and site supervision in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
- Experience in project execution, tendering processes, and contract management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software applications
