About the Role
The Construction Manager will lead civil construction activities for large‑scale oil and gas projects in Kuwait. This senior position requires overseeing all phases from planning through hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance on both greenfield and brownfield sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all civil construction works, including earthworks, concrete, and structural installations.
- Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to KOC/KNPC standards, health‑safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and resolve on‑site technical issues.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and documentation for client and internal review.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of overall construction experience, with at least 8 years in oil & gas civil projects.
- At least 4 years of proven brownfield project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience working with Middle East oil companies such as KOC or KNPC.
- Strong knowledge of local construction codes, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Availability for immediate local transfer and start‑up.
