About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Inclusion to lead the development and implementation of inclusive practices in a supportive educational environment. This position is based in Kuwait and is responsible for ensuring equitable access for all students, collaborating closely with families and specialists to create an inclusive culture where every learner can thrive. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in inclusion leadership and a commitment to diversity and belonging.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of inclusive policies and practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and specialist support teams to address diverse learner needs.
- Develop training programs and professional development initiatives for staff on inclusion best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate outcomes to ensure equitable access and positive experiences for all students.
- Advocate for resources and support structures that promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Work with leadership to align inclusion goals with broader organizational strategies.
- Stay current with regional and international trends in inclusion and special education.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior inclusion or special education leadership role.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education frameworks and equitable access principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies that support diverse learners.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to inclusion in the Gulf region.
- Experience managing teams and driving cultural change toward greater inclusivity.
