About the Role
The HVAC Technician (Chiller) will join a dynamic team responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller and broader HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites in Kuwait. You will work on scheduled service contracts as well as urgent breakdowns, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new chiller units and associated piping, electrical and control components according to design specifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, refrigerant checks and performance testing.
- Diagnose and repair faults in chillers, pumps, valves and HVAC control panels.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete technical reports for each job.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to source spare parts and schedule major overhauls.
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with water‑cooled chillers and commercial HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, P&ID diagrams and service manuals.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges and refrigerant leak detectors.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
