About the Role
We seek an experienced HVAC Technician to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems across projects and service contracts in Kuwait. You will lead hands-on work on VRF systems and coordinate closely with engineers, supervisors, and clients to ensure safe, efficient operation that meets technical standards. The role combines installation, testing, and commissioning with ongoing maintenance and rapid fault resolution to maximize reliability and performance. You will support quality inspections, system optimization, and site activities while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission HVAC systems including VRF, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, ducted systems, and ventilation equipment to approved drawings and manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out piping, wiring, ductwork, and control system integration while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
- Support testing, commissioning, balancing, and final handover of HVAC systems with coordination across trades and disciplines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance focused on VRF systems, diagnosing refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control faults.
- Conduct system inspections, performance checks, and optimization to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
- Attend service calls and emergency breakdowns, restoring functionality within agreed timelines and preparing service reports.
- Execute quality inspections, pressure testing, vacuuming, and commissioning reviews while supporting warranty and manufacturer audits.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC systems with strong emphasis on VRF technology.
- Solid knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, piping, and ductwork aligned with regional standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ability to read approved drawings, perform site surveys, and coordinate installation sequences with engineers and supervisors.
- Track record of troubleshooting complex faults, executing repairs, and documenting corrective actions clearly and accurately.
- Familiarity with testing, balancing, commissioning processes, and quality control activities for HVAC systems.
- Commitment to safety compliance, site discipline, and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to support major overhauls, upgrades, and emergency technical requirements under critical deadlines.
