About the Role
Terry Brown Digital is seeking a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our team in Kuwait. You will be responsible for building and maintaining professional websites using WordPress, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. The role involves collaborating with design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop websites using WordPress platform
- Customize themes and integrate plugins for enhanced functionality
- Modify web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed
- Troubleshoot website errors and resolve technical issues
- Optimize site speed and performance for better user experience
- Manage content by adding and updating pages and articles
- Implement basic SEO practices within WordPress sites
- Perform website backups and keep systems and plugins updated
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong proficiency in WordPress platform and ecosystem
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Basic understanding of PHP programming language (preferred)
- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as Elementor and WooCommerce
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
