About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. You will be responsible for preparing feasibility studies, detailed designs, and technical specifications for mechanical engineering projects in the petroleum and chemical industries. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects in one of Kuwait's key industrial hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare feasibility studies and technical proposals for mechanical engineering projects
- Develop detailed designs and calculations for mechanical systems and equipment
- Create and review technical specifications and engineering documentation
- Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning
- Conduct equipment selection and evaluation studies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical design for oil, gas, or petrochemical projects
- Proficiency in relevant design software and calculation tools
- Strong knowledge of international engineering standards such as ASME and API
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of Kuwaiti industrial regulations is an advantage
