About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with proven fire fighting experience to support building safety and mechanical systems in Kuwait City. You will collaborate with duct technicians, duct laborers, and insulators to deliver compliant installations and maintain performance across commercial and industrial sites. The role emphasizes reliability, coordination, and strict adherence to regional safety codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and implement mechanical systems with a focus on fire fighting layouts and equipment.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance activities with duct technicians and insulators on site.
- Conduct inspections and testing to verify system integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare technical documentation, as-built drawings, and maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Support procurement and verification of materials and spares for fire fighting systems.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in fire fighting systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and suppression equipment.
- Hands-on knowledge of ductwork, insulation, and HVAC coordination in large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with relevant Kuwaiti and international safety standards and codes.
- Strong technical drawing skills and ability to interpret specifications and layouts.
- Proven capability to supervise and align with duct technicians and laborers effectively.
