Principal Engineer, IT Architecture and Enterprise Solutions in Kuwait

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Engineer specializing in IT Architecture and Enterprise Solutions to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. This senior role involves leading enterprise architecture governance and aligning systems with target reference architectures across the ICT division. You will drive the implementation of integrated NFV architecture and oversee ERP solution design and deployment. The position requires close collaboration with Group Architects to ensure best practices and strategic alignment with Ooredoo's vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage architecture governance for IT systems and maintain current architecture blueprints
• Develop and execute programs to achieve target reference architecture aligned with group strategy
• Lead overall system and solution architecture including high-level and low-level design
• Collaborate with Group Architects to promote best practices and ICT Architecture programs
• Govern changes implemented by ADM vendors and validate high-level designs for ICT projects
• Assess risks and impacts of complex, high-importance projects and identify dependencies
• Provide technical expertise and negotiate for quality and functionality in technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and IT solution design
• Proven expertise in ERP solutions implementation and integration
• Strong knowledge of NFV architecture and telecommunications systems
• Experience with architecture governance frameworks and best practices
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Ability to assess technical risks and provide strategic recommendations
