About the Role
The Quality Control/Assurance Inspector leads the plant's quality program to ensure that all products meet established standards. You will coordinate inspections, analyze data, and work closely with production managers to drive reliability while controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality control objectives, aligning them with production procedures.
- Direct inspection and testing activities, approving incoming, in‑process, and finished materials.
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to set and review quality expectations.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Organize and deliver training programs related to product quality and reliability.
- Document inspection results, maintain logs, and input data into the quality database.
- Ensure measurement equipment is calibrated and maintain a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, inspection techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurement data.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with production supervisors and plant managers.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and basic computer applications.
