About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to join our operations in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest safety standards across our facility, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. This role involves proactively identifying potential hazards, implementing preventive measures, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs for all employees
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions
- Enhance existing safety measures and develop new protocols to minimize workplace risks
- Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and statistical data
- Collaborate with management and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to Kuwait safety regulations
- Promote safety awareness and best practices across all departments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in safety management within industrial or oil and gas sector
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct effective safety training sessions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
