Senior Executive Procurement at Ooredoo Kuwait

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Executive in Procurement to join Ooredoo Kuwait's dynamic team. This role supports the procurement function by executing sourcing activities, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement activities for telecom infrastructure, IT systems, and operational services while ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders with accuracy
• Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Support development and execution of procurement strategies for telecom equipment and network infrastructure
• Prepare and draft contracts based on input from commercial and technology departments
• Maintain supplier records and documentation for procurement activities
• Assist in preparing RFQs/RFPs and collecting vendor responses
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through price comparisons and vendor options

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
• Proven experience in procurement within telecommunications or technology sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Experience with contract preparation and vendor management
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Proficiency in procurement systems and documentation management
