Senior Network Security Engineer in Kuwait

About the Role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of advanced security solutions across enterprise and operational technology environments. This role requires translating risk assessments into practical road‑maps and delivering clear technical and executive reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current security posture, identify gaps, and produce risk‑based recommendations and road‑maps.
• Design, implement and optimise network security controls for IT and OT (SCADA, DCS, PLC) environments.
• Integrate multi‑vendor security products such as firewalls, IPS, WAF, EDR, ADC and access control systems.
• Lead incident response, perform post‑event analysis and refine security policies.
• Research emerging threats and technologies, delivering workshops and presentations to stakeholders.
• Provide technical supervision and mentorship to the security operations team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNP Security, GICSP) preferred.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience securing enterprise networks and OT/SCADA environments.
• Deep knowledge of firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, EDR, ADC, and access control solutions.
• Proven ability to produce executive‑level reports and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment and security architecture design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
