Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Director - Kuwait City

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Director to lead our strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement operations in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies while ensuring robust procurement governance across all operational domains. This leadership role requires someone who can optimize end-to-end supply chain processes and drive operational excellence within our Energy & Infrastructure division.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Establish and maintain procurement governance frameworks and policies
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, purchasing, and vendor management
• Negotiate high-value contracts with suppliers and contractors
• Optimize supply chain processes to achieve cost efficiency and operational excellence
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and procurement leadership roles
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and vendor management within energy or infrastructure sectors
• Strong expertise in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices and procurement regulations
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
