About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Service Engineer with a mechanical background to join our team in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. This role is critical for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to address equipment issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in industrial settings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently using systematic approaches
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and maintenance logs for all work performed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and safety departments
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and maintenance staff as needed
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas field in Kuwait
- Valid Kuwait Driving License (mandatory) with a clean driving record
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment
- Familiarity with industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software
