Store Manager at Al Futtaim Group in Kuwait

About the Role

You'll lead a retail store, driving sales growth and profitability, ensuring top customer service, upholding merchandising standards, managing daily operations, and developing your team to meet store goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead staff development, including recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining high-quality associates for current and future roles.
• Organize weekly meetings and daily briefings to review store performance, share company goals, and communicate new procedures and targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service by leading by example, answering customer questions, and supporting all selling functions.
• Implement visual merchandising standards, promotions, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Drive sales and profitability by meeting or exceeding store profitability expectations and creating strategies to maximize sales and control expenses.
• Manage company assets by controlling inventory, monitoring stock movements, and ensuring loss prevention measures are followed.
• Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a retail store manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and retaining staff.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a focus on driving profitability.
• Ability to manage daily operations, including merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience in a retail environment, preferably in a large mall or shopping center.
