About the Role
Join Zain Kuwait as a Transport Network Engineer based in Kuwait City. You will execute day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of transport network infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of systems to support mobile, fixed, and B2B services. Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test transport network equipment including RON, GPON, and DWDM systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal network uptime
- Support capacity expansions and infrastructure upgrades across Kuwait
- Monitor alarms, analyze logs, and respond promptly to network incidents
- Maintain accurate records of network inventory, configurations, and updates
- Assist specialists in troubleshooting escalated issues and technical problems
- Comply with ISMS policies and report security breaches immediately
- Adhere to environmental requirements and OH&S management standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Hands-on experience with configuration and installation of network equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new telecommunications technologies
