About the Role
We are seeking a dependable Welder and Picker to support active industrial and logistics operations across Kuwait. You will perform precision welding on structural and mechanical components while accurately picking, staging, and preparing materials for shipment or assembly. This combined role requires focus on quality, compliance, and safe handling in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or arc processes on metals and alloys while meeting inspection standards.
- Interpret simple drawings, weld symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication and fit-up.
- Select, pick, label, and stage inventory items from warehouse or yard locations with minimal errors.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain organized storage and retrieval systems.
- Conduct pre-use checks on tools, welding machines, and lifting gear to prevent defects or downtime.
- Record completed tasks, material movements, and quality observations in daily logs or systems.
- Support site housekeeping, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder or in a combined welding and warehouse role within industrial or construction settings.
- Familiarity with basic welding techniques, joint preparation, and common metal types used in Gulf projects.
- Ability to read and follow picking lists, part numbers, and safety documentation accurately.
- Physical fitness for standing, lifting, and working in warm climates or outdoor yards.
- Awareness of occupational safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Good reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills with clear communication in English or Arabic.
- Prior certification in welding or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
