About the Role
As a Content Localization Specialist, you will be the bridge between English and Arabic content, ensuring every message resonates with local audiences. Your role involves translating, adapting, and reviewing marketing, website, and social media materials to reflect cultural nuances and regional preferences. You will collaborate closely with creative teams to maintain brand consistency while delivering engaging, locally relevant content.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize marketing collateral, website copy, and social media posts from English to Arabic and vice versa.
- Adapt content to reflect local dialects, cultural references, and consumer behavior in the Gulf region.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure translated assets are properly formatted and displayed across digital platforms.
- Review and edit translated content for accuracy, tone, and brand alignment.
- Maintain a glossary of key terms and style guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Stay updated on regional trends, language usage, and industry best practices to inform localization strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in translating and localizing content for Arabic-speaking audiences.
- Excellent command of both Modern Standard Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing terminology in both languages.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Experience using CAT tools and content management systems is a plus.
