About the Role
Responsible for drilling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency while delivering exceptional service to clients in the oil and gas industry. This position is based in Kuwait, a key hub for petroleum extraction in the Gulf region. The driller will play a vital role in maintaining operational standards and supporting exploration and production activities across various drilling sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor drilling equipment to extract oil and gas from the subsurface
- Ensure all drilling activities comply with strict safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to optimize drilling performance
- Maintain detailed logs of drilling parameters and operational data
- Conduct pre and post-drilling equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Respond to drilling emergencies and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with client representatives to meet project specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in drilling operations within the oil and gas sector
- Proven knowledge of drilling equipment, systems, and operational procedures
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and emergency response protocols
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing operational conditions
- Valid certification in well control or related technical discipline
- Experience with both onshore and offshore drilling operations preferred
