About the Role
The QA Automation Engineer will lead the digital fortification of KTS Group IT’s software ecosystems. Designing and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks, the role ensures applications are resilient, performant, and ready for high‑stakes industrial deployment. This position operates from Block 1 in the Al Rai Industrial Area, focusing on reliability and quality assurance for regional technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute scalable automated testing suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to achieve full coverage of critical business logic.
- Maintain existing script libraries, perform root‑cause analysis on failed builds, and differentiate environment instability from software defects.
- Integrate automated validation checkpoints into the CI/CD pipeline to conduct rigorous health checks on every code commit before production release.
- Develop and run automated load‑testing scripts to evaluate system behavior under peak industrial traffic and identify latency bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with international development teams in professional English to draft defect reports and visual bug‑walkthroughs using Loom.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years dedicated to automation engineering and framework development.
- Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java, combined with strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Proficient with Git for version control and experienced in writing and maintaining automated test code.
- Advanced C2‑level English proficiency required for drafting defect reports and collaborating with global teams.
- Hands‑on experience using Loom to record bug‑walkthroughs and automation execution demos for developers.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure high‑quality, reliable automation solutions.
